Identified as Wayne Johnson, an Australian of Chinese-Filipino descent, the man’s Instagram account contains multiple videos of him rushing public events. Johnson claims to be the same person who invaded the Cricket World Cup Final in November 2023 between India and Australia while wearing a Palestinian flag face mask and protest t-shirt.
History of Celebrity Confrontations
Johnson’s social media accounts document a series of similar disruptions at major entertainment events. His profile features videos of him rushing stages at concerts for several high-profile performers including Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and The Chainsmokers – establishing a concerning pattern of behavior targeting celebrities.
“Wicked: For Good,” the sequel to last year’s Best Picture-nominated “Wicked,” arrives in U.S. theaters on Friday, November 21. The film reunites Oscar-nominated stars Erivo and Grande (Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress nominees for the original film) alongside an ensemble cast featuring Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, Marissa Bode, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum.
