The long-running CBS reality series Survivor returned for a 45th season on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. The show returns for Episode 4 on Wednesday, October 18, at 8:00 p.m. ET. This season is the thirteenth consecutive season to be filmed in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji.
But, for the very first time, every episode of the season will have a 90-minute run time.
Episode 4 is titled, “Music to My Ears.”
In the previews leading up to this week’s episode, it appears that we will have our first tribe shakeup of the season which is good news for the remaining members of the Lulu Tribe, who have yet to win an immunity challenge and have lost three of their six members at tribal council.
The episode synopsis reads, “Tribes must dig deep in the immunity challenge to land a win and earn safety for one more night. Then, one tribe is sent to the tribal council where someone will be the fourth person voted out of the game.”
This season’s cast features 18 contestants, including Bruce Perreault who competed on Survivor 44 before being medically evacuated after suffering a head injury on the first episode.
Season 45 of Survivor once again promises “minimal supplies and elevated twists” as the new era of the series continues.
