The long-running CBS reality series Survivor returned for a 44th season on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The show returns for Episode 9 on Wednesday, April 26, at 8:00 p.m. ET. This season, filmed in June 2022, is the twelfth consecutive season to be filmed in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji.
In tonight’s episode, the post-merge game ramps up after a thrilling blindside by Danny, who played his idol to save Frannie at last week’s tribal council, to send Brandon home.
Episode 9 is titled, “Under The Wing of a Dragon.”
The episode synopsis reads, “Castaways must negotiate to earn a big pot of rice for the entire tribe. Then, the castaways will need to put their best foot forward to earn immunity at the next tribal council.”
This season’s castaways include a former NFL player, an NYC firefighter, an elementary school teacher, a NASA engineering student, a surgical podiatrist, a law student, and much more.
Season 44 of Survivor once again promises “minimal supplies and elevated twists” as the new era of the series continues.
