Upon finding the perfect mate on or offline there are instances you may wonder how you got there. The best times might still have you begging the same question. Some unions seem heaven-sent, whereby both parties just synchronize and seem to be in perfect harmony. This is not always the case and when things aren’t working out, they can be detrimental to our health.
Finding that perfect partner never really happens. Every couple struggles with one or two things and with these struggles, compromises are made. It may not always be easy to compromise but it is well worth it. Part of the reason for this is to maintain sanity and a clean bill of health.
Lust or Love
Health gets ruined whether you are dating for lustful pleasures or indeed love. Whichever couple you might be, the compromise in health that you will experience can be fatal. It will be worse when you meet hot Ukraine brides and seek long-term relationships. Here are a few reasons relationships can ruin your health and some ways to fix or avoid them.
1. Party Animals
When things get overwhelming, couples take to clubs. This is where they let off steam and make new friends. However, being a party animal is not good for your health. If one partner parties too much that is already a problem. Both of you hitting bars and clubs too much is a recipe for disaster. You either suffer from vices or end up bankrupt. It only weighs heavily on your liver and health in general.
2. Depression
When dirt hits the fan and no one is talking things will go downhill. This usually leads to depression if things are left unsaid. Communication is important in all relationships; new and old. It is also crucial to spend more time discussing things amongst yourselves, than sharing them with others. When things are heading south, the world knowing these private matters makes things worse. Depression is real and it kills.
3. Stress
Work and family can be more stressful than any financial issues one might experience. If a couple doesn’t fix stress in a marriage, depression is the least of their problems. Most stressful situations lead to overdrinking, too much thinking, and possible ulcers as well as infidelity. These factors combined can cause severe loss of weight, hypertension, and divorce. Aside from minor cases of health problems, these factors can lead to physical abuse in marriages.
4. Overindulgence
Aside from drinking too much, one partner might resort to eating too much. This can happen for several reasons. We all know stressful situations can lead to several coping mechanisms including eating too much. Sometimes, couples simply let themselves go especially if one is busy working and the other feels useless. Instead of sitting at home wallowing in self-pity, it is best to find work or go to the gym. Overeating can only lead to more stressful situations including hypertension, heart disease, and an unhappy spouse.
5. In-Laws
The elephant in the room is of course in-laws and their contribution to your marriage. Supposing you are married and not just dating, there will be times they factor in quite a bit. Their contribution could be negative talk, perhaps a lack of moral or emotional support, or a combination of all of them. When in-laws are bringing you down, your health may need serious reinforcements. Beating the in-law stress factor is a lot harder than it looks. It requires interventions or relocations entirely.
Bottom Line
There are more ways a relationship can be detrimental to your health than the ones listed above. Most relationships will have unique elements causing some serious friction. However, the above are proven ways that will destroy a couple’s union and their health.
