The 73rd annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Sunday night at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California. The awards, chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor the standout performances on primetime television.
This year’s awards ceremony was hosted by Cedric the Entertainer.
The Crown won all seven drama categories, becoming the first show to sweep the major drama categories.
Meanwhile, Jason Sudeikis’s Ted Lasso took home the honor for Best Comedy. Sudeikis also took home Best Actor in a Comedy Series, while Jean Smart nabbed Best Actress in a Comedy Series as the lead role in Hacks.
