With the return of the NBA season in full swing, the Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks cap off a busy day of action at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida as the nightcap of a Friday night doubleheader.
It’s been more than four months since we last saw the two teams on the court after a series of scrimmages to shake off the rust.
“I think guys are looking forward to it, although I think they enjoyed the scrimmages also,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said, via ESPN.com. “But they’re looking forward to getting it on and seeing what happens as it obviously relates to the playoffs. That’s what we’re here for, and we’ll use those eight games to try to round off in better shape and get some concepts down.”
Dallas enters the game as narrow 1.5-point favorites over the Rockets.
