The college football bowl season is about to kick into full swing on Christmas Eve with the 2019 SoFi Hawaii Bowl at Aloha Stadium. The game features a clash between the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and BYU Cougars.
While Hawaii sits at 9-5 entering the game on their home island and BYU at 7-5, it is the Cougars that enter the holiday clash as a slight two-point favorite.
It marks the 32nd meeting between the two former Western Athletic Conference rivals. BYU leads the series, 23-8, with all eight of the Cougars’ losses coming on the Rainbow Warriors’ home turf. Hawaii has not beaten BYU since 2001.
