With 2020 just around the corner, musical festivals are already beginning their preparations and Boston Calling is among the first to release information about their highly-anticipated event. On Wednesday, November 13, the headliners for the festival were revealed.
More than 60 performers will be featured on the lineup — which is set to be announced in January — but we do know that the headliners will be Foo Fighters and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
An additional headliner will be announced in the coming weeks.
The three-day Boston Calling festival will take place at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, MA next Memorial Day Weekend, May 22 – 24, 2020.
“Boston is such a great city for rock music, and we are so proud to bring some of the most important rock artists of all time to Boston Calling next Memorial Day Weekend. We have worked for years to bring the Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers to the festival, and this year everything lined up perfectly. We couldn’t be happier, and will complement them with an incredibly diverse lineup of artists throughout the festival weekend,” said Boston Calling Events, LLC, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Brian Appel.
Last year, Twenty One Pilots, Tame Impala, and Travis Scott were the headlining acts, while the lineup also included Logic, Odesza, Greta Van Fleet, Tame Impala, and many more.
A limited number of tickets will go on-sale for the festival on Thursday, November 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET. The tickets will be available at BostonCalling.com and will include 3-Day General Admission ($239), VIP Passes ($549), and Platinum Passes ($1,049).
