The Ultimate Fighting Championship is in New York City for UFC 244 this weekend, but the stars of UFC 245 will also have an opportunity to take the stage. Prior to Friday’s ceremonial weigh-ins, some of the top fighters on the year-end event will participate in a press conference alongside UFC president Dana White.
The fighters who will take the stage are UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, former interim titleholder Colby Covington, featherweight champion Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanovski, two-division champ Amanda Nunes, and former women’s featherweight titleholder Germaine de Randamie.
The festivities will take place at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
According to previous reports, we could also see a special guest with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson reportedly schedule to appear. The Rock also teased a “big announcement” that he said he wanted to share with mixed martial arts fans before anyone else.
