The special was filmed earlier this month and some leaks have surfaced leading up to its premiere, but we finally get to see the entire roast in its entirety as Baldwin faces vicious jokes from his peers and friends.
The star-studded list of roasters for the night include Robert De Niro, Caitlyn Jenner, Chris Redd, Jeff Ross, Nikki Glaser, Caroline Rhea, Ireland Baldwin, Blake Griffin and Adam Carolla.
Baldwin made the decision to face the best roasters the Tony Bennett’s Exploring the Arts Foundation, which funds his Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
“The people at Comedy Central very kindly agreed to match me $500,000 for Tony Bennett’s Exploring the Arts foundation, which funds his Frank Sinatra School of the Arts High School,” Baldwin told the website. “When this opportunity came to come up with a million bucks for them with Comedy Central, that was really the real impetus behind this. I think it’s a question if I am even going to be alive when it’s over.”
