Kickboxing star Raymond Daniels is still young in his mixed martial arts career, but he already has one of the best highlights of the year. On Saturday, May 4, Daniels scored a one punch knockout of Wilker Barros and simultaneously threw his hat into the ring for “Knockout of the Year.”
With Barros backed against the cage, the “Human Highlight Reel” unleashed a ridiculous 720-degree punch to flatten his opponent.
Daniels described what went through his mind during the rare technique.
“I knew he was back against the cage. He had done a good job of trying to back away from my kicks. But because he was up against the cage, I knew he couldn’t back up anymore,” Daniels said after the fight. “When I threw the 720, I was going to actually throw the kick, but he pushed against the cage, and it gave him more space, so I decided not to kick and come down with the right hand. And that happened all in that split second, in my mind.”

If you are unfamiliar with Daniels, you will know that the flashy finishes are nothing new. At GLORY 16 in Denver, Daniels scored the “Knockout of the Century” with an absurd two-touch spinning back kick knockout.
