World MMA Awards 2019: Full List of Nominations

The Fight Capital of the World, Las Vegas, Nevada, will be home to the 11th annual Fighter’s Only World MMA Awards and on Wednesday, May 1, the official nominations were announced. Awards like ‘Fighter of the Year’, ‘Knockout of the Year’ and ‘Upset of the Year’ are all up for grabs.
Fans will vote for the winners of the awards on WorldMMAAwards.com with the voting closing on May 31.
Daniel Cormier, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Gegard Mousasi, Dustin Poirier, and Aung La N Sang are up for Male Fighter of the Year, while Amanda Nunes, Ilima-Lei MacFarlane, Valentina Shevchenko, Tatiana Suarez, and Jessica Andrade are in the Female Fighter of the Year category.
Israel Adesanya leads the way in the Breakout Fighter of the Year category, while Yair Rodriguez’s last-second hail mary knockout over The Korean Zombie is up for Knockout of the Year along with Amanda Nunes’ stunning finish of Cris Cyborg.
