Drew Pescaro has been identified as one of the shooting victims in the mass shooting at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte on Tuesday, April 30. Pescaro was wounded in the shooting, according to the Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity’s Facebook page.
“We support the students and personnel at UNC-Charlotte affected by today’s tragic shooting,” the post read. “ATO brother Drew Pescaro was shot and is currently hospitalized in stable condition. We are keeping Drew, the chapter and the campus in our prayers.”

On Tuesday, April 30, the University of North Carolina-Charlotte went on lockdown around 5:00 p.m. local time when the alleged gunman Trystan Andrew Terrell began open firing at the library. Six people were shot, with two of the victims now deceased. There is no motive for the shooting at this time and it is believed that Terrell, a history student, acted alone.
