While Game of Thrones has long been known for things such as plotting, writing, violence, nudity, betrayal, costume design, and set creation, comedy has never been one of the first things mentioned when discussing the iconic HBO series.
However, ever since the artist formerly known as Bran Stark made his way south of the Wall and back around people he *used* to know, he’s been full of comedic moments (intentional or otherwise) for the entire final season.

However, while Bran has been the focal point of thousands of memes, tweets, and GIFs ever since he became the Three-Eyed Raven, the Bran-centric comedy seemed to hit a boiling point during the third episode of the final season, “The Long Night”.
As every living good guy fought for the future of humanity in the battle against the dead, Bran — arguably the most powerful weapon they have — was off … well, that’s the thing, no one really knew what the hell he was doing.
And because Twitter is Twitter, everyone was feeling some type of way about the Three-Eyed Raven’s contribution to the Battle of Winterfell and made sure the internet heard them.

And for what Bran was *actually* doing during the Battle of Winterfell, one can only hope that the Game of Thrones writers chose to explain it over the course of the final three episodes.
Or at the very least, turn it into a comedic moment between Bran and Arya where they have a good old fashioned sibling rivalry about who was the MVP in the Great War.
The eighth and final season of HBO’s generation-defining, Emmy Award-winning drama ‘Game of Thrones’ — which first premiered on April 17, 2011 — will air its final episode on Sunday, May 19 at 9 p.m. EST.
