An AMBER alert has been issued for 6-year-old Ethan Robinson after his father Justin Robertson allegedly stabbed his estranged wife before kidnapping the young boy.
What Happened & Who Is Justin Robertson?
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, on the morning of Tuesday, April 23, the 42-year-old Roberston allegedly broke into his estranged wife’s home before stabbing her and taking off with their six-year-old son.
Following the attack, the mother of the child was taken to nearby Sacred Heart Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said that Robertson was last seen in a green Adidas t-shirt and black Adidas shorts. Additionally, he was last seen driving a 2014 Subaru Legacy with the license plate number APN-2450.
Authorities have described the 42-year-old Justin Roberston as being a white male with brown hair, green eyes that stands at approximately 5’9″ and weighs approximately 205 pounds.
Police say that while they believe Robertson has “access” to weapons, they are not sure if the weapons are currently in his possession, according to FOX 13. Furthermore, police told any civilians who may see Justin Roberton not to approach him as he is considered dangerous.
Authorities have asked anyone who sees Robertson or has information about his whereabouts to contact police immediately. Additionally, police said that the 6-year-old Ethan was last seen wearing blue pajamas and an orange Nike T-shirt.
