Here's How To Watch The Shield's Final Chapter; Will Dean Ambrose Retire?

The Shield’s Final Chapter special will take place on Sunday, April 21 at the Tax Slayer Center in Moline, Illinois. The event is headlined by The Shield, comprised of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Den Ambrose, taking on Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin in a special six-man tag match.
It will mark the final match for The Shield, and has led to many believing Ambrose could be retiring from professional wrestling altogether as soon as his WWE contract expires.
“I’ve heard people say that he’s retiring. I don’t believe at his age he’s gonna retire forever. I mean whoever has at his age, especially at his level where you can make a couple million a year that’s a lot to retire. Especially since at some point he absolutely loved wrestling because he wouldn’t be this good if he didn’t. He survived on the indie scene for as long as he did, but for whatever reason you know he feels like he needs time off and whatever it is he’s not happy,” Dave Meltzer of said while discussing the rumors.
“He’s burned out and he’s unhappy. If he’s unhappy then whatever he’s unhappy about probably isn’t going to change. If he’s burned out and needs a rest then he’ll probably come back.”
In addition to The Shield’s final match, WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor is set to defend his title against an unannounced opponent, though that opponent is believed to be Elias.
