Soni Methu, the former host of CNN’s Inside Africa, passed away suddenly at age 34, according to reports. Methu was staying in a hotel in Diani, Kenya when she began complaining about severe stomach pain. She passed away on her way to the hospital, her sister Faith Methu told Daily Nation.

“She started looking like she was having a seizure and my sister-in-law rushed her to the hospital but she died on the way. We don’t know much but a post-mortem will be done to tell exactly what happened,” Faith said.
