Jennifer Lopez is making the media rounds following her highly-publicized engagement to former New York Yankees star turned entrepreneur and successful businessman Alex Rodriguez. Lopez also recently dropped a new single, “Medicine.”
That led to an interview on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy.
During the interview, Lopez opened up about her relationship with Rodriguez which led to a discussion about the wild cheating allegations that have been swirling in recent weeks — most notably from former-MLB superstar Jose Canseco. The disgraced slugger had claimed that Rodriguez cheated on Jennifer Lopez with Canseco’s ex-wife, Jessica. Canseco even challenged A-Rod to a fight.
“Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,” Canseco wrote on Twitter. “Alex Rodriguez I challenge you to a boxing match or an MMA match anytime you want.”
Jessica immediately denied the claims.
“Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over five,” she tweeted. “I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose ,he can keep playing with his Alien friends.”
When discussing the allegations, J-Lo seemed relatively unbothered.
“I mean it doesn’t matter,” Lopez said during the interview. “I know what the truth is. I know who [Alex Rodriguez] is. He knows who I am. We’re just happy. We’re not gonna let other people come out and tell us what our relationship is. I know what our relationship is.”
Her comments come around the 29:20 mark of the interview.
