The 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) were held Sunday, April 7 in Las Vegas. The event was be hosted by Reba McEntire, who is also serving as executive producer, for the 16th time in the award ceremony’s history.
Leading the way with nominations is Chris Stapleton and Dan + Shay with six apiece, while Kacey Musgraves check in with five.
Leaving the night, Musgraves and Dan + Shay were big winners. Musgraves picked up wins for Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Dan + Shay, meanwhile, picked up Duo of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and Song of the Year for their hit song “Tequila.”
