The Premier League returns from international break with a bang this weekend as two of England’s top sides, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, are facing off at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool, who currently sit on top of the Premier League table, need a victory to keep pace with the rampant Manchester City, while Tottenham, who are in third place, need a result as they are currently in a battle for a Top 4 place.
The two sides met earlier this season at Wembley with Liverpool walking away with all three points following a 2-1 victory over Mauricio Pochettino’s men. Additionally, when these two sides faced off at Anfield last season, the result was one of the games of the year following a thrilling 2-2 draw.
