Not only was Thugger involved in the music scene, he too expanded his creativity to fashion. He and other artists like Frank Ocean featured in Calvin Kleins Fall 2016 Campaign. Some of the most controversial things done by Thugger around fashion include wearing a dress on his album Jefferey which blurred the lines of gender norms. Later on, in 2016 he started his own record label YSl Records. Young Stoner Life Records currently has 12 upcoming artists signed and one DJ. In 2017 he appeared on one of Drake‘s most popular album More Life adding verses on Sacrifices and Ice Melts. Beautiful Thugger Girls was another album released by Thugger that year which was followed up by an additional Slime Language in 2018.
Some of the artists that worked with Thugger include Travis Scott, Future, and Metro Boomin. Much of Thuggers musical style is melodic which is accompanied by an eccentric high pitched autotune.
Like many of his Atlanta counterparts, Thugger niche for catchy hooks and adlibs have made him famous. He understands the current trend in hip hop which is catchy hooks and a fire producer.
