Florida, man. You can always rely on the Sunshine State to provide some hilariously newsworthy stories, and a 28-year-old’s recent trip to the strip club did just that. According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, a Florida man was leaving the Dancers Royale strip club early Tuesday morning when he managed to run himself over.
The man somehow managed to fall out of his 2016 Ford pickup shortly after leaving the strip club.
Unfortunately for the man, the vehicle continued to roll down the street and ended up running over his leg. The vehicle then crashed into a building shortly after 2:15 a.m. local time. From the report:
The truck then ran over his leg and then started rolling into the driveway of a home on the 5000 block of Old Cheney Highway. It kept going until it crashed into the front of the house, injuring a 58-year-old woman inside, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Perhaps the best part of the story is the fact that the driver ended up fleeing the scene… without his truck.
As for the woman who was inside the home that was hit by the truck, she received just minor injuries and did not need medical attention at the hospital. The driver, meanwhile, has yet to be identified and charges are likely pending.
