Bellator MMA is set to return to television on Friday, March 22 with Bellator 218. The event will be simulcast on the Paramount Network and DAZN, with preliminary bouts being live streamed on Bellator.com and the Bellator Mobile App.
The event — which takes place at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma — is headlined by a featherweight bout between top contenders Emmanuel Sanchez and Georgi Karakhanyan.
In the co-main event, Valentin Moldavsky faces off against Linton Vassell, a former Bellator light heavyweight championship contender and former UCMMA light heavyweight champion.
Ahead of Friday’s fights, all fighters had to step onto the scale for the official weigh-ins. Two fighters were unable to successfully hit their mark, but the good news for mixed martial arts fans is that the main event will go on as planned.
