In his second game back following a scary knee injury in late February, generational prospect Zion Williamson hit the game-winning bucket against the University of North Carolina Tar Heels to help the Duke Blue Devils advance to the ACC Tournament Final.
Tonight’s semifinal clash against the UNC marked Williamson’s second game back from injury following the sprained knee he sustained against the Tar Heels on February 20.

Following their epic victory over their in-state rival Tar Heels — their first victory of the season out of three attempts — the Blue Devils will take on the Florida State Seminoles, who upset #1 seed University of Virginia in the semis, in the ACC Tournament final on Saturday, March 16 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
Just like the rest of the ACC Tournament, the final will go down at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
While many college basketball fans questioned whether Williamson would ever suit up for Duke against following his sprained knee, the freshman phenomenon has silenced all of his doubters with two back-to-back dominant performances to help Duke advance to the ACC Tournament final.
That said, regardless of whether he participated in tournament play or not, Zion is all but locked up as the #1 overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft. The only question that remains is whether or not he leads the Duke Blue Devils to a title before he goes.
