WATCH: Game of Thrones Season 8 Official Trailer (VIDEO)

The official trailer for Game of Thrones season 8, the final season of the hit HBO series, is officially here. The full trailer for the final season comes just over one month ahead of the April 14 season premiere. Earlier this week, Game of Thrones also released the character posters and Twitter hashtags for season 8.

We previously were teased with short clips in December and January. In those clips, we say Jon Snow along with Sansa and Arya Stark walking through Winterfell’s crypt before coming to their own tombs. We have also seen a foreshadowing that the Night King could be pushing to put Westeros in its entirety into a deep freeze, while Cersei Lannister has plenty of retaliation on her mind.

Now, we get an even more detailed look at what is to come as the show winds down including a first look at the season’s massive battle.

While we have to wait to find out who will ultimately take the throne, HBO provided us with plenty of new clues in the 2 minute and 2 second-long trailer.

You can check out the official trailer for Game of Thrones‘ final season below.

Game of Thrones season 8 will premiere on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 9:00 p.m. ET. You can watch every episode on HBO, HBO Go, and HBO Now. After waiting nearly two years for the final season of the most popular show on television, fans now have a taste of what to expect in the final episodes including the epic, episode-long battle that is expected to be the “longest consecutive action sequence in cinema history,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
