Desus and Mero made their highly-anticipated premiere on Showtime a week ago with their first guest being fellow Bronx native and New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. On Thursday, February 28, the series returned for its second episode of the debut season and decided to feature another popular Senator.
Unfortunately for Cory Booker, a New Jersey congressman and 2020 presidential candidate, it turned into a roast session.
The most illustrious show on late night decided to cook Booker over his now-viral outfit, which included oversized jeans, a white shirt and vibrant red vest.
The end result was pure hilarity.
“He looks like a too-cheery Walmart greeter,” joked Desus Nice.
