Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar are the latest celebrities to join the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu craze and hit the mats. While Lopez has been participating in jiu-jitsu for nearly two years, he recently shared a photo training alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
What has people talking about the photo is that it is two former “Saved By The Bell” stars training together nearly 30 years after they broke onto the scene.
While appearing on the show, Lopez starred as A.C. Slater, the popular jock, while Gosselaar portrayed Zack. “Saved By The Bell” aired on NBC from 1989 to 1993. Other beloved characters were Kelly Kapowski, Screech, Jessie Spano, Lisa Turtle, Mr. Belding, and Tori Scott.
Lopez looks very much the same, while his bromance partner looks nothing like the baby-faced character he used to portray.

And if you were wondering whether either of the guys are legit on the mat, Lopez received his blue belt back in February 2018. It was an achievement that he was eager to share on social media.

Lopez and Gosselaar are just the latest celebrities to find themselves training jiu-jitsu, with people like Jonah Hill, Demi Lovato, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Bourdain, and Keanu Reeves finding love for rolling in the past. Lopez trains at Gracie Barra in Glendale, California.
