The news was announced during the official Mortal Kombat 11 reveal.
Rousey was undefeated in her mixed martial arts career through 2015, before losing the UFC title to Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 14, 2015. She returned to action more than a year later, on December 30, 2016, but suffered a second consecutive knockout loss to current UFC women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes.
After her second loss, Rousey decided to retire from the UFC and took her talents to the squared circle.
Rousey signed with the WWE in 2018 and made her first appearance at SummerSlam. Her in-ring debut came at WrestleMania 34.
Along with mixed martial arts and professional wrestling, Rousey has ventured into acting and has starred in films like The Expendables 3, Furious 7, Mile 22, and The Entourage movie.
She is also a New York Times best-selling author with her autobiography My Fight / Your Fight, which was released in 2015.
