A woman scheduled to fly JetBlue on Sunday, January 6 has ended up being restrained by police at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after screaming at a JetBlue employee, calling him a “rapist” and claiming she had a gun.
The woman has now been identified as 26-year-old Sabrina Thomas.
Who Is Sabrina Thomas?
Sabrina Thomas, 26, is a California woman who unleashed a tirade at a JetBlue employee at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Sunday after being denied boarding because she appeared intoxicated, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
Thomas was caught shouting in a video recording of the incident. “Who does that to a woman like me? Get me out of this f**ked up place, you rapist!” She screamed. “Get me out of here! Get me out of here!”
Thomas also yelled that she has a gun because she’s homeless. At one point, she leaps over the counter and slams her fists down.

According to an incident report obtained by the New York Post, a sheriff’s deputy responded to Terminal 3 at about 5 P.M. on Sunday.
“Thomas was screaming at help desk representative and jumping on the help desk counter because she delayed after she missed her flight,” the deputy wrote in the report.
When the deputy accosted Thomas, she then “threw a small duffel bag that she was carrying at a wall and her passport to the ground,” he wrote. “She then threw at me a boarding pass that she ripped into several pieces.”
However, She Wasn’t Charged
Police were called to the scene after a JetBlue employee noticed Thomas looked unwell and asked her if she had been drinking.
Thomas denied, but then yelled “go f**k youself” at the employee, according to the police report. She also screamed, “I hate white people” and “I f**king hate white cops!”
She eventually ends her triade and walked off with her bag. She is later seen sitting on the ground with her hands behind her back as police surround her.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office said that she was taken for a medical evaluation and not charged. Police said she was taken to Broward General Hospital under the state’s Baker Act, which allows the involuntary institutionalization and examination of a person.
JetBlue said the flight departed “without further incident 16 minutes after scheduled departure time” without Thomas.
