Cardi B is back in the headlines to finish off 2018, with another controversial incident followed by a wild Instagram rant being the reason. While in Australia, the “Money” rapper was approached for a photo with a fan while walking through an airport.
The Bronx native was bundled up and clearly trying to go unnoticed and unbothered, but the fan persisted.
Eventually, once Cardi B refused to stop for a photo, the fan directed a comment at the rapper which caused her publicist to snap and a verbal altercation ensued.
Of course, because it is the social media age, it was all caught on social media.
In the video, an older white woman can be heard saying “No wonder your husband left you” after Cardi B refused the picture. That’s when Cardi’s publicist got involved. You can check out the video below.
The publicist, apparently named Patience, responded, “B*tch, I’ll smack the sh*t out of you. Don’t ever come out your mouth about her mutherf*ckin’ husband. Watch your mouth.”

As you might expect, Cardi B took to Instagram shortly after the altercation to give her side of the story. She also defended her publicist in the rant.
“Not only is she my publicist, she’s my friend,” Cardi said in the since-deleted clip. “She was there when she gave birth to my daughter, everything. That’s my b*tch, that’s my homegirl. She been doing a great f*cking job, and I think her every single f*cking day.
“Matter of fact, I am mad at Patience. Wanna know why I’m mad at Patience? Cuz she should have spit in that f*ckin lady’s face.”
