Sandy Hook Elementary Evacuated Six-Years After Deadly Shooting

Sandy Hook Elementary School has been evacuated after receiving a threat. Today marks the six-year anniversary of the mass shooting, killing 20 children and 6 teachers. As a result of the threat, the school’s students have been sent home for the remainder of the day.
“Please stand with our community as we attempt to survive another tragic anniversary,” the Newtown Action Alliance tweeted on the morning of Friday, December 14.
