On Thanksgiving weekend, golf stars Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson will have their highly-anticipated head-to-head round of golf in Las Vegas. The showdown between the longtime rivals will take place live on pay-per-view on Friday, November 24. The prize pool is a whopping $9 million with the winner of the round taking the entire purse.
It’s a rare opportunity for golf fans to see two of the best athletes in the sport face off in a head-to-head showdown and now we know just how much it will cost for those who choose to tune in.
When the match was first announced, there was plenty of discussion about just how much it would cost to watch Tiger and Mickelson face off. For instance, major sporting events before like the Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match cost $100 and a standard combat sports event sits in the $59.99 to $69.99 price range, but the special golf pay-per-view will be much more affordable.
Just how much will it cost to watch the two men face off at Shadow Greek Golf Course? According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the price will be just $19.99.
No tickets will be sold, so the pay-per-view is the only way to tune in.
