The Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson $9 Million Match Is Set

A golf match over a decade-in-the-making (and probably a decade too late) is finally upon us as Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson have announced the date of their winner-take-all match for $9 Million.
Dubbed simply “The Match”, Tiger and Phil will face off at the Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas on the day after Thanksgiving: Black Friday, November 23, 2018.
Uproxx reports that the match will be shown on PPV through Turner’s Bleacher Report Live service and will available on AT&T U-Verse, DirecTV, and various other on-demand platforms.

The match will be shown on PPV, run through Turner’s B/R Live and available on AT&T U-Verse, DirecTV, and other on-demand platforms. HBO Sports will run a 24/7 pre-match series, as they do with big boxing matches, in the build up to the event. While the match is set for $9 million, the two will have the chance to raise the stakes at any time in the match with side challenges like closest to the pin or long drive.

When & Where is the Tiger Woods vs. Phil Mickelson “The Match”?:

Tiger Woods will face off one-on-one against Phil Mickelson on Friday, November 23, at the Shadow Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas.

As for the favorite to win? Tiger, of course, at -180. Given that he’s had himself quite the bounce back year, that shouldn’t come as a surprise.
However, considering he’s a pretty heavy gambler himself, Mickelson probably loves that he’s getting plus odds at +150.
