Apple October 2018 Event: Everything We Know

It has become the norm to expect new and innovative technologies to be developing by Apple. With their new iPhone Xs, Max & Xr just released not long ago, Apple has another surprise for us under their sleeves. New iPad Pro tablets.

The company issued media invites to an event on Tuesday, October 30th, in Brooklyn New York where new iPad Pro tablets and several updates for their Macs are going to be revealed. Also, there might be news on new AirPods as well. This year, their event tagline is “there’s more in the making.” Pretty mysterious.

The New iPad Pro

The new iPad Pro is looking to be a little bigger than existing iPad’s, replacing the 10.5-inch model with 11 inches. It will also adopt several features from iPhone X such as the new Face ID facial recognition technology and the removal of the home button. This radical design will surely capture headlines.  Rumors are having it that the new iPad Pro will also include a USB-C connector instead of Lightning and that there might be a possible removal of the headphone jack. There’s also a new Magnetic Connector to replace the current Smart Connector.

That sounds like a lot of changes for one event, but that’s just what is being rumored.

New Mac Updates

This event will bring you joy if you are a huge fan of Mac’s. Apple has previously upgraded the 13-inch and 15 inch MacBook Pro with True Tone display, Siri, and higher core options. This month, we can expect to see one new Mac design that will be showcasing.

According to Bloomberg, there might be a new successor to the MacBook Air, equipped with higher resolution and slimmer bezels.

Apple is also said to be working on updates for the Mac Mini, a miniature desktop that has been pretty obsolete over the years. Bloomberg writes that “new storage and processor options are likely to make it more expensive than previous versions,” so you better start saving up for it.
