Jeffrey Flake, born on December 31, 1962, is an American politician who serves as the senior United States Senator for Arizona. Flake was first elected to the seat in 2012.
Prior to being a United States Senator, Flake was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2001 to 2013.
Previously serving as Arizona’s junior Senator, Flake became Arizona’s senior Senator following the death of John McCain. In 2017, he announced he would not be running for re-election in 2018.
