In the days following the tragic death of rapper Mac Miller, tributes from artists, friends, fans, and family began pouring onto social media.

From peers like Chance The Rapper and Wiz Khalifa to ex-girlfriends such as Ariana Grande, everyone who seemed to have somewhat of a relationship with Malcolm James McCormick seemed utterly devastated by the news of his untimely passing.

However, of all the social media tributes thus far, none have been nearly as heartbreaking as the tribute from Miller’s own mother, Karen Meyers.

Posted about 24 hours after the news of her son’s death, Meyers uploaded an adorable photo of the mother and son enjoying a Pittsburgh Pirates game at PNC Park. The photo was captioned with a simple yet devastating broken heart emoji.

Miller, who was famously from Pittsburgh, was a noted fan of all things black & yellow.
