Malcolm James McCormick, best known by his stage name Mac Miller, has died at the age of 26-years-old. He was an American rapper, singer and record producer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was born on January 19, 1992, and raised in the Point Breeze part of Pittsburgh. McCormick would go on to attend Winchester Thurston School and Taylor Allderdice High School in Pennslyvania.
Miller broke into the industry with the mixtape But My Mackin’ Ain’t Easy in 2007. His most recent project, Swimming, was released on August 3, 2018.
In addition to his career as Mac Miller, McCormick was also a noted record producer under the pseudonym Larry Fisherman.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Mac was found Friday at around noon at his San Fernando Valley home and was pronounced dead at the scene.
We’re told authorities were alerted by a male friend who placed a 911 call from Mac’s home.
At this time, it is not clear what drug was involved.
