A plane with 16 people on board is attempting to make an emergency landing at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. According to reports, rapper Post Malone is on board. The plane, a Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 luxury jet, reportedly blew out two tires as it was taking off from the runway at Teterboro Airport.
Ryan Hutchins, the New Jersey bureau chief for Politico, tweeted that Post Malone is on the plane. The Gulfstream Aerospace GLF-4 aircraft was departing for Luton, England when the tires blew.
UPDATE: While the emergency crash landing was originally supposed to happen at Teterboro, the plane was diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Springfield, Massachusetts, and then re-diverted to Stewart Airport in New York.
Reports indicate that the plane as 3,700 gallons of fuel to burn.
No injuries were immediately reported. Malone was scheduled to perform at the Reading Festival in Reading, England, on Friday, August 24.

Post Malone, born Austin Richard Post, is an American rapper and musician who was born on July 4, 1995 and grew up in Grapevine, Texas.
Malone first broke into the industry with debut album “Stoney”, which went on to become certified double platinum. Malone is perhaps best known for his singles “Congratulations” and “Rockstar”. He most recently released the 2018 album “Beerbongs & Bentleys”.
Post Malone won the song of the year at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and performed at the event on Monday, August 20 — the day before this incident. His next scheduled performance was at the Reading Festival on Friday, August 24.
