Website Launched To Help Find Missing Iowa Student Mollie Tibbetts

UPDATE: Mollie Tibbetts, who has been missing for more than a month, was found dead on Tuesday, Aug. 21.


Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old University of Iowa student, has been missing since July 18. Tibbetts was last seen while jogging near her hometown of Brooklyn, Iowa. Despite a lengthy search with multiple local, state and federal authorities, Tibbetts remains missing and now investigators are turning to another avenue with the hope of finding new information.
This week, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation lanched a new site FindingMollie.Iowa.gov.
The site is “currently seeking additional witnesses and wants to speak to anyone who was in the areas indicated below on July 18, 2018 between the hours of 5PM and 10PM.” Information they are seeking from those who may have been in the video include:

Assistant DCI Director Mitch Mortvedt says that the investigators continue to consider all scenarios, but it is “possible that Mollie has come into contact with someone who has caused her harm.”
