John Stewart Beasley: Full Story Of Baytown Police Officer

John Stewart Beasley, a Baytown Police Officer who had been missing since Thursday, Aug. 2, has been found dead near his home in Texas. Beasley’s son was the first to notice his father was missing which sparked a search on Monday, according to Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne. Beasley was 46 years old.
During the search, authorities found Beasley’s cellphone in the woods.
His phone and the battery had been separated.
Tuesday, the search intensified with drones, helicopters, and cadaver dogs before he was ultimately found, according to ABC 13 Eye Witness News. There was no indication of foul play, but detectives will investigate all possible scenarios.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and the hundreds of people that knew and loved Officer Beasley,” the police department said in a statement.
