Ellie Soutter, British Snowboarder: Bio, Age & Must-See Details

Ellie Soutter was one of the most promising young snowboarders in Great Britain. Winning a bronze medal for Britain at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in Erzurum, Turkey, Soutter, whose nickname was “Bessie,” was the country’s only medalist. She was also recently named as a representative for Team GB at the Junior World Championships in New Zealand.
Unfortunately, her life came to a sudden end.
On Thursday, July 26, it was revealed that Soutter died suddenly. It was her 18th birthday, and no details surrounding her passing have been reported. It was a tragic ending for a young woman who had so much more to accomplish in life.

Ellie’s recent notable achievements include vice champion of the Freeride Junior World Tour 2017, European Freeride champion 2016 and Team GB Bronze medalist at the European Youth Olympics 2017 for boardercross. Ellie competes on the Junior Freeride Tour and the SBX Europa Cup circuit throughout winter and trains in New Zealand in the summer, allowing her to develop her riding as much as possible.”
