LeSean McCoy Net Worth 2022: How Much Is LeSean Worth?

LeSean McCoy is an American football player for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL and played College Football at the University of Pittsburgh in front of about 13 fans at Heinz Field in the heart of the Steel City. McCoy was one of the top players from the state of Pennsylvania and had a number of offers coming out of high school. He has had an extremely productive pro career with the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills. With that being said, let’s take a look at Shady’s net worth.

LeSean McCoy Net Worth as of 2019: $14 Million

He may be worth $14 million now, but he won’t be for much longer after news broke that he reportedly assaulted and brutally beat his girlfriend. Now let’s look at how he got the point of being the starting running back of the Buffalo Bills and now he probably won’t hold that spot much longer if these allegations are all true.

The College Years (2007-2008)

In just his two years playing for a school that only cares about football when they play Penn State and give free beverages to students when they’re getting blown out, McCoy left his mark. He rushed for 2,816 yards on 584 carries, scored 35 touchdowns, and averaged 4.8 yards per carry. He was regarded as one of the best players in Pitt history alongside Dan Marino and Tony Dorsett. For the record, Dorsett has scrambled eggs for brains. Seriously though, listening to Dorsett talk is just impossible. Alright, back to the main focus. McCoy won the Big East Conference Rookie of the Year in 2007 and Big East Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2008. He was also a two-time first-team All Big East and a first-team All-American in 2008.¬† McCoy left Pitt after the 2008 season to become eligible for the 2009 NFL Draft and was looked upon as one of the top running back prospects that year. ¬†Hail to Pitt! Yeah, okay then.

Fly Eagles Fly (2009-2014)

McCoy was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round with the 53rd overall pick and he made an impact immediately. Once Brian Westbrook went down with an injury, McCoy stepped in and kept the team going. He rushed for 637 yards and four touchdowns during that 2009 season. Once Westbrook was released before the 2010 season, McCoy became the starting running back. When McCoy became the starter, he took off running. As his time in Philadelphia progressed, he got better and better. In 2013, he ran for 1,607 and had 2,146 all-purpose yards. Shady is also the Eagles’ all-time leading rusher with 6,792 yards. He was a first-team All-Pro in 2011 and made the Pro Bowl in 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Bills Mafia (2015-Present)

LeSean McCoy was traded to the Buffalo Bills prior to the 2015 season in exchange for Kiko Alonso and now Bills Mafia had a new face of the franchise. While playing for the Bills, McCoy has rushed for 3,300 yards on 724 carries and has rushed for well over 10,000 yards in his career. He reached the Pro Bowl in 2015, 2016, and 2017, but declined the 2016 invite because of an injury. At the beginning of the 2017 season, McCoy passed the 12,000 yards gained from scrimmage mark and is just one 60 players in NFL history to ever reach that mark. During the blizzard game against the Indianapolis Colts in 2017, McCoy reached the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth time in his career. There is no doubt that LeSean McCoy is easily one of the most prolific and talented runners in the game. However, what will happen if these assault allegations are proven to be true?

After a series of injuries that forced him to take a break, LeSean McCoy is finally back in the team for NFL.
