'Game Of Thrones' Star Says Season 8 Will Have "More Death" Than All The Previous Seasons

While many people already consider Game Of Thrones to be the most devastating and brutal show they’ve ever seen, apparently we ain’t seen nothin’ yet (I’m paraphrasing here). At least according to Sophie Turner, that is.
In an interview with Gold Derby, Turner, who plays Sansa Stark — the Lady of Winterfell — said that the show’s final season will have “more death” and be “more emotionally torturous” than ever before.
Grrreeaaaaaaat. We’re gonna lose Jon, aren’t we? Yup, we’re definitely going to lose Jon.

In an interview with Gold Derby about the upcoming season, actress Sophie Turner teased, “I can tell you that there’s definitely a coming together of people. Everyone is coming together to fight the impending doom. There’s a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right. It’s Game of Thrones, so it’s going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before!”
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would only add that season eight will be “surprising. Enormous. Heartbreaking.” And when asked to describe what’s to come in three more words: “Satisfying, shocking, and… heartbreaking, again.”

Game Of Thrones eighth and final season is expected to premiere sometime during Spring 2019. The season will consist of six episodes and will bring the most successful television show of all-time to a close. And according to Sophie Turner, it’s going to be a devastating final act.
At this time, no official premiere date or trailer for season eight of Game Of Thrones has been released.
