Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is one of the most successful video game streamers on the planet. After a Twitch stream with Drake went viral, Ninja has watched his platform continue to grow with more than 140,000 subscribers on Twitch, where he notably plays I, the wildly popular game that people everywhere are playing.
Ninja first started his rise to fame as a professional Halo player. From there, he never looked back and now he reportedly earns more than $500,000 per month to play video games.
But you can’t knock the hustle, because Ninja is entertaining and pretty darn good.
To show how popular Ninja is, his social media engagement earlier this year ranked higher than star athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, Shaq, Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and Ronaldinho.
In early 2018, Ninja streamed a Fortnite game with Drake, Travis Scott, and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. That’s when his breakout moment came online. Along with his wide Twitch audience, he has a YouTube following of more than 4.6 million subscribers.
If you’ve never watched Ninja play, it doesn’t take long to see why he has built such a strong following. He’s engaging, energetic, and just knows how to keep your attention while he’s flying across maps and wreaking havoc on his opponents.
One YouTube user, TANKxCamz, put together a highlight real of some of Ninja’s best Fortnite Battle Royale moments which will give you a taste of what it’s like to watch one of the video game industry’s biggest stars.
