Wendell Carter Jr. stole the show at the 2018 NBA Draft on Thursday, June 21, with his impeccable style. The Duke big man showed up to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with a look inspired by the Marvel hit movie Black Panther. Carter’s family also joined in on the fun.
“I saw a ‘Black Panther’ commercial, saw he had something wrapped around the top of his suit, so I was like, ‘Might as well try it out,’” Carter said on the red carpet before the draft.

That’s one way to steal the show.
During his one and only season for the Blue Devils, Carter appeared in 37 games. He finished his freshman campaign averaging 13.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. Now, he will be taking his talents to Chicago where he will look to make the Bulls a force in the Eastern Conference once again.
