Washington Capitals Stanley Cup Parade: Date, Start Time, Location & Details

The Washington Capitals Stanley Cup parade takes place Tuesday, June 12 in the nation’s capital. More than 100,000 fans are expected to be in attendance as the Alex Ovechkin and company celebrate the first Stanley Cup in franchise history. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. ET before a rally is held at the National Mall.
With a perfect forecast, city officials are expecting a huge turnout that could even exceed the 100,000 projected fans.
Fans are expected to begin lining up before dawn, so if you want a close view of the parade route you will have to get out of bed early and suit up in your best Caps gear for the big celebratory day.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Constitution Avenue and 17th Street NW. It will continue along Constitution Avenue to 7th Street NW, before turning right and coming to an end with a rally at 7th Street NW and the National Mall.
