The 2018 NCAA men’s lacrosse season is down to its final four teams. Making the cut are Maryland, Albany, Yale, and Duke. The final four will take place in Foxboro, Massachusetts over Memorial Day weekend. The semifinal games will be played on Saturday, May 26 and the championship game is slated for Monday, May 28. Albany Team Preview
The Dane Train heads into championship weekend with a record of 16-2. Albany is led by Tewaaraton Award nominee Connor Fields and one of the best FOGO’s in the country TD Ierlan. The Danes are set to take on Yale, who handed Albany one of their two losses earlier this season.
Duke Team Preview
The Duke Blue Devils head to Foxboro with a record of 15-3. The Blue Devils are led by the nations leading point scorer Justin Guterding, who just broke the NCAA career goals record with 207 goals. Duke will take on Maryland in the national semifinals.
Maryland Team Preview
The defending champs are back! Maryland rolls into Gillette Stadium with a record of 14-3. The Terrapins are led by Tewaaraton Award finalist Connor Kelly. Maryland is set to play Duke in the national semifinals.
Yale Team Preview
Yale is making their first trip to the NCAA men’s lacrosse final four since 1990. The Bulldogs are led by Tewaaraton Award finalist Ben Reeves, who is second in the country in points per game. Yale will look to stop the Dane Train in the national semifinals.
