Santa Fe High School Shooting Victims: Names, Photos & Details

Early Friday morning, an active shooter, later identified as Dimitrios Pagourtzis by police, claimed the lives of 10 people, while injuring at least 10 others, with the shooting taking place between 7:30 and 7:45 A.M. local time at Santa Fe High School in Texas. As more information comes out about the story, the victims are being identified by officials and by their families.

Aaron Kyle McLeod

Aaron Kyle McLeod was one of the confirmed dead; McLeod was believed to have been a Santa Fe student.


Angelique Ramirez

Angelique Ramirez was one of the confirmed dead; Ramirez was believed to have been a Santa Fe student.


Chris Stone

Chris Stone was one of the confirmed dead; Stone was believed to have been a Santa Fe student.


Jared Conard Black

Jared Conard Black was one of the confirmed dead; Black was believed to have been a Santa Fe student.


Kimberly Jessica Vaughan

Kimberly Jessica Vaughan was one of the confirmed dead; Vaughan was believed to have been a Santa Fe student.


Sabika Sheikh

Sabika Sheikh was one of the confirmed dead; Sheikh was believed to have been a Santa Fe student. According to the Associated Press, Sheikh was a foreign exchange student from Pakistan.


Cynthia Tisdale

Cynthia Tisdale was one of the confirmed dead. She is believed to have been a teacher’s aide.


What do we know about the injured?

According to ABC 13, a Santa Fe ISD police officer, John Barnes, was shot in the upper arm during the incident and is currently undergoing surgery for his injuries. Two other victims were said to be with Barnes at the same hospital, but their names were not released to the public; one had been a 16-year-old shot who had a gunshot wound in his leg and the other was identified as being an adult woman. Both were said to be in stable condition.

Clear Lake Regional Hospital also confirmed that they were treating other victims from the shooting. The FBI also announced it will provide resources to victims and their families at a Family Assistance Center set up at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Santa Fe.
