Penguins vs Capitals Game 6 Live Stream: How To Watch The NHL Playoffs Online

If you haven’t enjoyed the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins second-round series, you’re truly missing out. The first five games had everything you could ask for, bad blood, back and forth play, and drama with every passing shift. Tonight, this terrific series could come to a close in Pittsburgh if the Capitals finally exercise a 24-year-old demon. If not, a highly-anticipated game seven would be set for back in our Nation’s Capital Wednesday night.
It’s almost become common courtesy for the Penguins and Caps to meet in the postseason. After all, this spring marked the third consecutive year they met in the playoffs. And it marked the fourth time in the past decade, the two rivals have faced off.

As their series opened, many around the hockey globe were still wondering what it would take for the Capitals to get over the proverbial hump, known as the Penguins. The Penguins have beaten the Caps the past two postseasons on their run to back-to-back Stanley Cups. In game one, it looked as if there might have been a shift as the Caps entered the third period up 2-0, but just as they’re accustomed to, a few key plays and mistakes, led the Penguins to a stunning 3-2 win. The following game, Washington would re-write the script, flexing their muscles in a 4-1 win, sending the series back to Pennsylvania tied at a game apiece.
Game three — before game five was the most nail-biting of the series — was a barnburner. Both teams traded blows until just under two minutes to go when Alex Ovechkin took a beautiful feed from Nicklas Backstrom and batted the puck out of mid-air to give the Caps the lead and a 4-3 win. With a chance to put a stranglehold on the series, the Caps were hit by controversy both with Tom Wilson being suspended, and a no goal that turned out to be the game-winning goal for the Pens. Game four ended with a 3-1 decision for the Penguins, tying the series at two and setting up a pivotal game five.
In that fifth game, the two teams put on a clinic and played close to the most entertaining game of the postseason. Washington would score three times in the third period to pull off a 6-3 comeback win and leave them just one win away from their first Conference Finals appearance in over 20 years.

You will truly not be disappointed if you tune in to what should be another memorable affair for game six this evening. Check below and find out how you can watch the all-important game six of this series on your TV, PC, tablet or mobile device.
