Tso Sun, a foreign exchange student from Taiwan, has been arrested after he allegedly had threatened to ‘shoot up’ Bonner-Prendie, a high school in Delaware County, Pennslyvania. Police found a ballistic vest & ammunition at his residence. Sun is currently in custody.
According to reports, Sun allegedly told another Bonner-Prendie student not to come to school on a future date because he was going to “shoot it up.” Bonner Prendergast Catholic High School is located in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania. He is being held on $1,000 at Delaware County Prison. The Upper Darby Police Department said that Sun allegedly threatened to shoot up Bonner Prendergast on May 1.
Police say that while Sun later claimed that he was joking, a further investigation found that Sun had allegedly been searching how to purchase an AK-47.
The Upper Darby Police Department tweeted saying:
“An Tso Sun, 18, arrested for threatening to shoot up local high school. Sun was found to have a military vest and ammunition at his residence. Kudos to the person who stepped forward and helped to avert a tragedy.”

The arrest comes just days after the March For Our Lives on March 24.
